William Westfall, of Waynetown died Sunday evening following an illness of 3 weeks from the infirmities of old age. He is survived by two sons, Jackson Westfall and Bert Westfall and one daughter, Mrs. Amos Fouts all of Waynetown; two brothers, John Westfall of Lawrence, KS and CC Westfall of Waynetown and by two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Schenck of Waynetown and Mrs. Carrie Grenard of Hillsboro. Mr. Westfall who is the son of George and Martha A. Houser Westfall was born in Coal Creek Township, Montgomery County Jan 3, 1844. He was married 55 years ago to Samantha E. Parker and four children, one of whom died in infancy were born to them. He had been living in Waynetown for a number of years and had been a member of the Baptist Church for over 40. he was also a member of K of P lodge, Waynetown. The funeral will be held at the Baptist Church at Waynetown at 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon. Rev WH Breach of Danville Ill will conduct the services. The burial will be at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
